My first Knitted creation

Well I sat & I knitted & knitted & knitted LOL. It started out as Leg warmers but I would never wear them so I started to decrease the stitches & made a beanie! Would probably fit a newborn & I don't have one of those at the moment so its on Isla's dolly. Not to bad I thinks for my first go at Knitting :)

Bilby on the brain

Today I made a pocket nappy for GiGi. She sent me some MM fleece & I made her a nappy with it. With a bilby of course.

Happy Birthday to me.

Today is my 27th Birthday. Simon got me this lovelly Mermaid from one of my favourite shops in Kuranda "New to You". Its one of the nicest presents he has gotten me in ages. I wonder if he realised how much it looks like this picture I have on the computer.

The boys got me wool & knitting needles, well actually I got me those things but from the kids LOL.

Think I will stick to sewing....

I thought I would try to knitt. Its harder then I thought. Well the method is easy enough but my hands just don't want to do it LOL. i'll keep trying though.



I have been working with Felt to make pics to put on things I make. I made a pair of flongies for Gigi. I am also working on a nappy for her.




I also made a jumper which I will give to my sister for Rebecca. Felt is great to work with.

Isla can pull her self up to her feet! She is so proud of her new trick..

These are the latest pants I have made. I made the ones with Josh, for my Nephew who turns 4 soon. I told my sister all about then & she told a friend who liked the sound of them. So today while we had a black out & I was bord I whipped the ones up for Bryson. Pretty cool! I love the little fishy! I stuffed up the Bryson pants by making it so the name was on the front of one leg & the fish was on the back of the other, but I was tricky & cut the fish leg off then turned it around so it was facing the right way then sewed it back on LOL!

Now I have to say, She looks just like her older sister Claire. But I can also see her brother Jay. But most of all her Mum Kerrie.
