Mates looking after Mates.

Evan has some school mates over yesterday. As the last of his friends left, Evan had a sook because he wanted to go over their house. It was late so said not today, you've been playing all afternoon anyway. Then he said he wanted to go over on Sunday all the while he was sitting in the drive way chucking a tanty.

Later on I get a call, its Evans friends Mum, apparently when they got home Evans friend said to his mum, "im a bit sad" His mother asked him why? "Evan really wanted to come to our house & he was crying, that makes me sad"

So his Mum called to ask if Evan would like to come over today. So today we spent the afternoon at his mates place. It was good, I get on with his Mother really well & Evan has a ball running around with the kids!

Its taken some time but I am finally feeling like I have some friends up here in the mountains. I have my playgroup group of mums. At first I wasn't too keen to go along thinking I wouldn't get along with these women who already knew each other & had their group already happening. But I get on well with them all.
Now I am making friends with the parents of the kids Evan plays with at school.

I still think it will be a little while before my social groups venture further then my online buddies, but its a start. Also I imagine my neighbour will be glad I am making friends other then her. She is probably sick to death of me by now! LOL.
